Come and see!
Who is it for?
If you are interested in enhancing your maths teaching at Primary School or if you are a maths teacher at a Post Primary School, these workshops are for you. If you wonder how you could teach mathematical problem solving through fun activities, you can gain inspiration and practical advice at our workshops.
Maths Circles
The workshops may inspire you to start a Maths Circle in your school. Maths Circles provide learning activities in an informal setting that are designed to foster enjoyment of mathematics in young people. Often, they are offered at lunch-time or after school by teachers in their schools. More information and fully-detailed and classroom-tested lesson plans are available on mathscircles.ie.
Junior Cycle students who attended a Maths Circle before, may enjoy participating in Junior Maths Enrichment classes. Links to such offerings can be found here.
